This will give you inspiration and your guests something fun to set the scene.
STEP 2: Invites
Whether online, through the mail or in person be ready to explain what a caftan is. Sell the easy breezy movement and fun and they will be onboard in no time. Caftans are truly making a resurgence and finding them online and in stores is easier than ever. Even better, they look good on everybody. So, if anyone is hesitant to come to a pool party because their “summer body” isn’t ready, this may be the chance to change their mind.
STEP 3: Entertainment
Honestly, this depends on your theme and your guests. But, there is something about a caftan that makes you want to shimmy so let the party music play. Limbo is especially fun in a caftan because there is nothing to restrain you. Although you can get a caftan wet it would be like walking around in a wet shirt for the rest of the evening. If people are planning on getting in the pool leave an area or basket for putting the caftans.
